Producer description of "Weingut Gebrüder Mathis"

The "Kalkbödele Gebrüder Mathis" winery is located in the municipality of Merdingen (Tuniberg area) in the German wine-growing region of . It is managed in the second family generation by the economist Sonja Mathis-Stich, who is supported by the family and the cellar master Manfred Zimmermann. The original winery name derives from the that predominates here. The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vines in the single vineyard Bühl (Merdingen). They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Lagrein.
