Kafels

single vineyard in the municipality of Norheim in the German wine-growing region of Nahe. It is a historic site. The southwest to south-facing vineyard at 125 to 215 metres above sea level with a slope of 5 to 60% covers 1.8 hectares of vines. The soil consists of fine sandy and stony-grassy loams, weathered porphyry, and sandstone. Only Riesling is cultivated here. The two wineries Anheuser Paul and Staatsweingut Bad Kreuznach have shares in the site.
