The winery is located in the municipality of Radda (province of Siena) in the Chianti area of the Italian region of Tuscany. In 1959 Bruno Fronti founded an agricultural service company in the fields of earth moving, vineyard planting and green space management, which was continued by his sons Fabio and Stefano. The first own vineyards were purchased in 1974, but the grapes were sold to other wineries. The first wine from his own production was only marketed in 2009. The tasting room is located outside Radda in the Vigna Istine vineyard. Since 2012 the winery has been managed by Fabio's daughter Angela Fronti.
The vineyards cover 20 hectares of vines on predominantly rocky soils (Alberese and Galestro) in the municipalities of Radda and Gaiole, divided between the vineyards Vigna Istine, Vigna Casanova dell' Aia and Vigna Cavarchione, at an altitude of about 500 metres above sea level. The red wine varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, Malvasia Nera di Brindisi and Merlot are cultivated, as well as the white wine varieties Malvasia Bianca Lunga and Trebbiano Toscano. Since the 2016 vintage, the vineyard has been cultivated according to certified guidelines of organic viticulture.
