The "Cascina Isimbarda" (Cascina = farm) is located in the municipality of Santa Giuletta in the district of Castello (province of Pavia) in the Italian region of Lombardy. The name of the farm refers to the patrician family of the Marchese Isimbardi, who were feudal lords of estates in Santa Giuletta in the 18th century. The Cascina Isimbarda was founded in 1991. The owner is Luigi Meroni, the director and oenologist is Daniele Zangelmi. The property is a typical farm complex with modern infrastructure for wine production. The vineyards cover 30 hectares of vineyards planted with the white varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco(Pinot Blanc) and Riesling Renano(Riesling), and the red varieties Barbera, Croatina, Merlot and Pinot Nero(Pinot Noir). No grapes are purchased.
