The white grape variety is an interspecific cross between wild vines of the species Vitis labrusca x Vitis vinifera. It is an open-pollinated seedling of the Diana variety. The hybrid was selected in 1855 in the US state of New York by grower C. W. Grant. The red-berried variety produces white wines with a subtle foxy flavour, which are mainly used for the production of sparkling wines and grape juice. However, it is also used as table grape. The variety was a crossing partner of the three new varieties Moore's Diamond, Excelsior and Reliance (2). However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

If I were to rate websites, you would deserve the highest rating. It is rare to come across websites that provide such a large amount of data and are still so intuitive to use. Respect for the lovingly researched and informatively prepared encyclopedia. Keep it up!
