Intervitis Interfructa

The "International Technology Fair for Wine, Fruit, Fruit Juice and Spirits" is the world's largest trade fair for viticulture and beverage technology, which is held every three years in Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg) by the DWV (German Winegrowers' Association) and organised by Weinmesse Stuttgart. In March 2010 it was held for the first time in the "New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre" directly at the airport on a 60,000 square metre site. There were 615 exhibiting companies from 28 countries, as well as 36,965 visitors from 63 countries. The product range covered marketing and organisation, cultivation and harvesting technology, filling and packaging technology as well as processing and process control. Special areas included machine demonstrations, the Wine and Architecture theme park and a tasting workshop. The fair is also held outside Germany in Chile, Austria (here as "Intervitis Vienna") and South Africa (here as "Intervitis Southern Africa"). See also under wine events.
