Inner bar

Single location in the municipality of Würzburg (area Maindreieck) on the south side of the former bishop's residence Marienberg in the German wine growing area Franconia. It was once owned by the Bavarian royal family. It has been knighting for centuries with the famous location Stein for the first place. Both produce top wines, whereby those from the Inner Leiste are said to have more sweetness and those from the Stein more power and fire. The name is derived from the elongated shape along the slope. In the past there were three layers: Rocky ledge, Inner ledge and Outer ledge, which were later combined under the present name. The core is the actual inner ledge, which was only used for growing vines in the 18th century, while the surrounding outer ledge was planted 100 years earlier.
