The red grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Severny x Odesskii Ustoichivi (Sereksia = Băbească Neagră x Rupestris). Synonyms are Iliciovski Ciornii, Iliciovski Ciornyi Rannii, Iliczewski Rani and Iljicsevszkij. Genes of Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrids were crossed in the Ukraine. It is used as table grape. It is grown in small quantities in Moldova. However, no stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
