ICEA

Organisation (Istituto per la Certificazione Etica ed Ambientale = Institute for Certification regarding Ethics and Environment) with headquarters in Bologna, Italy, for the control and certification of companies. One of its principles is that, in addition to ecological (environmentally conscious) aspects, ethical and social values for the rights and dignity of workers should play a role in production, as well as consumer protection in the case of products. The business area includes products from organic agriculture as well as products and processes from other organic-oriented sectors. These are food (organic production and organic aquaculture) and non-food (organic cosmetics and cleaning products, organic textiles, organic furniture, materials for buildings, sustainability in the management of green spaces).
