The winery is located in the municipality of Neckenmarkt in the Austrian DAC area of Mittelburgenland. The winery is run by Anton and Elisabeth Hundsdorfer. Their two sons Anton and Lukas already work in the business. In 2001, a new production facility with state-of-the-art cellar technology was put into operation. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards in the Bergleiten and Hochberg vineyards, for example. They are 98% planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch (lead variety), Zweigelt, Blauburger, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and St. Laurent, and the small remainder with Chardonnay and Grüner Veltliner. Natural viticulture is practised with, for example, permanent cover crop, the use of grass mulch and the renunciation of mineral fertilisers. Particular attention is paid to the processing of the grapes in pure vineyards and thus to wines with a strong emphasis on the terroir. The red wines are vinified in two different lines. These are the traditional wines, classically matured in large oak barrels and tanks, as well as the premium wines, which are matured in barriques depending on the variety, vintage and maturation period. The premium wines include, for example, the "Canis" cuvée (Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot), Mittelburgenland DAC (Blaufränkisch, aged in Classic and Reserve), St. Laurent Classic and Pinot Noir Classic. The winery is a member of the Blaufränkischland Mittelburgenland Association.
