The "Wein & Sektgut Bernd Hummel" is located in the municipality of Malsch (Kraichgau area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. The vineyards cover almost ten hectares of vineyards in the two Malsch vineyards Ölbaum and Rotsteig. Half of the vineyards are planted with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Black Riesling, Chardonnay, Riesling, Auxerrois, Lemberger, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Mitos, Dornfelder and Regent. Two thirds of the wines produced are reds, with the top products maturing exclusively in new barriques of various toasts from French production. Bottling takes place after 18 to 24 months. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines and distillates (marc, wine) are also produced.
