The "Ökoweingut Hubertushof" is located in the municipality of Lieser (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region of Mosel. The Hubertus statue, which is the trademark of the winery, dates back to 1901. A guest house is attached to the winery. In 1978, Hermann Botzet took over the winery from his father and switched from bulk wine to bottled wine sales. In the 1980s, the winery became a pioneer in the processing of red wine grapes with thermal vinification and red wine vinification. Today, the winery is run by Hermann-Josef Botzet, his wife Maria and son Hubert as cellar master after training at the State Viticultural Domain of Trier. The vineyards cover almost ten hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Niederberg-Helden and Rosenlay (Lieser), as well as Sonnenuhr (Maring-Noviand). The white wine varieties Riesling, Kerner, Pinot Blanc and Müller-Thurgau are cultivated, as well as the red wine varieties Blauer Spätburgunder, Dornfelder, Schwarzriesling and Domina.
