The winery is located in the municipality of Reichersdorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Traisental. It has been family-owned since 1778. The winery is rich in tradition and is now run by Markus Huber, the tenth generation to do so, after years of practice in South Africa (Kaapzicht, Lammershoek, Spice Route), in Alsace and at some of Austria's top wineries (Bründlmayer Willi, Jurtschitsch). A Heuriger is attached. The vineyards cover 40 hectares of vineyards on limestone conglomerate soils partly covered with loess layers in the vineyards Alte Setzen, Berg, Engelsberg, Hochschopf, Obere Steigen, Rothenbart and Zwirch. They are 95% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner (with two thirds of the total area), Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, Gelber Muskateller and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as the red wine variety Zweigelt. Grapes are also purchased from contract winegrowers.
