Producer description of "Weingut Hofer"

The winery is located in the 23rd district of Liesing in the Mauer district in the south of the Austrian capital . A is attached. The business was built up by Gottfried and Helene Hofer. After an internship at the winery (Tattendorf), their son Wolfgang and his wife Christine took over responsibility in 2001. The vineyards cover six hectares in the Greiten and Kadolzberg vineyards. They are 70% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gelber Muskateller, Neuburger, Sauvignon Blanc and a stock of , and 30% with the red wine varieties St. Laurent, Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
