The winery is located in the municipality of Gobelsburg (Langenlois) in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The history of this traditional family business dates back to 1590, the year in which the family coat of arms was created. In 1985, the estate was taken over by Elisbeth and Egmont Höfinger. Their two daughters, Christine and Johanna, already contribute their knowledge and skills in addition to their education. Attached is the cosy restaurant "Rebstockgrill", which was opened in 1983. The vineyards cover around 22 hectares in the Haide, Hofstatt, Hussen, Steinsätz and Thal (Gobelsburg), Heiligenstein and Kogelberg (Zöbing) and Sachsenberg (Hadersdorf) vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as with the red wine varieties Blauer Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
