Mandelpfad

single vineyard in the municipality of Dirmstein (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. It was first mentioned in 1557 as "am Mandel Pfad". The name is derived from the former economic use of almond trees, some of which still characterise the landscape today....
