The winery is located in the municipality of Nussdorf at the foot of the Wetterkreuzberg south of Krems in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Traisental. A fruit farm is attached. The family business has existed for several generations. It is managed by Reinhard Herzinger, his son Ing. Andreas Herzinger is responsible for the cellar. The vineyards cover ten hectares in the vineyards Hinter dem Schloss, Hochschloss, Nussgarten and Saupoint on loess terraces with rocky subsoil. They are 80% planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Blanc, and 20% with Cabernet Sauvignon. The premium wines include various Grüner Veltliners and Rieslings Traisental DAC and Traisental DAC Reserve. In addition to the wines, a mass wine, bottle-fermented sparkling wines (Grüner Veltliner), liqueurs, noble brandies (grape, fruit), fruit juices, jams and alcoholic compotes are also produced. The winery is a member of the Traisentaler Weingärtner association.
