single vineyard in the municipality of Hammelburg (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The vineyards, which face east-southeast, south and southwest and have slopes of 20 to 60%, cover 19 hectares of vineyards on shell limestone soils. The varieties cultivated here include Silvaner, Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. Shares in the site are held, for example, by the wineries Ruppert and Städtische Weinkellerei Schloss Saaleck.
For me, Lexicon from wein.plus is the most comprehensive and best source of information about wine currently available.
