The winery is located in the municipality of Kallstadt, Weinstraße 2 (area Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße) in the German wine-growing region . The business is managed by Walter Henninger, who is supported by his son Dieter. The vineyards comprise eight hectares of vineyards in the locations Kobnert, and Steinacker (Kallstadt), as well as Goldberg (Freinsheim). They are planted 70% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Scheurebe, Gewürztraminer, Solaris and Ortega, and 30% with the red wine varieties Dornfelder, Portugieser, Pinot Noir, Regent, Acolon, Cabernet Dorio and Cabernet Mitos. Intensive vineyard care, measures to maintain and improve the soil structure and moderate grape yields create the basis for optimal grape quality. Special emphasis is placed on a late harvesting time with correspondingly high and careful handling during vinification to achieve a distinctive varietal aroma.
