The winery is located in the municipality of Deutschkreutz in the Austrian wine-growing region of Mittelburgenland. The family, rich in tradition, has been growing grapes for over 300 years. After internships at foreign wineries, Silvia Heinrich has been co-responsible for the cellar since the 2002 vintage and has been in overall charge since 2010. The vineyards cover 40 hectares of vines in the Riede Goldberg, where eight hectares are planted with Blaufränkisch vines, some of which were planted in 1947 (the wedding year of the grandparents), and Siglos. They are planted exclusively with red wine varieties such as Blaufränkisch (80% of the total area), Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.
The Wine lexicon helps me to keep up to date and refresh my knowledge. Thank you for this Lexicon that will never end in terms of topicality! That's what makes it so exciting to come back often.
