The winery is located in the municipality of Tattendorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. It was founded in 1932 by Jakob Skarics. Since 1995 it has been run by his grandson Andreas Heggenberger and his wife Sigrid. A wine tavern is attached. A structural remodelling of the farm was completed in 2005. The vineyards cover nine hectares. They are 80% planted with the red wine varieties St. Laurent, Pinot noir, Blauburger, Blauer Portugieser and Zweigelt, and 20% with the white wine varieties Weißburgunder, Grüner Veltliner, Rivaner and Riesling. The vineyards are cultivated close to nature. The St. Laurent, Blauburger and Pinot Noir varieties are vinified classically and in barriques. The premium wines are the red wine cuvée Rebenspiel Barrique (St. Laurent, Blauburger), St. Laurent Reserve and Pinot Noir Reserve. The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Burgundermacher.
