The winery is located in the municipality of Oberwaltersdorf in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region Thermenregion. After practical experience in New Zealand and Italy, it has been run by the fifth generation of the family, Heinrich Hartl III, since 1999. A wine tavern is attached. The vineyards cover 13 hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Blauburger and Zweigelt, as well as with the white wine varieties Chardonnay, Neuburger, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer and Rivaner. The premium wines include the "Burgundermacher wines" Pinot Noir and St. Laurent, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, the white wine cuvée "Madre" (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Traminer) and the red wine cuvée "Amicus". The winery is a member of the winegrowers' association Burgundermacher.
