Halde (single vineyard Germany)

single vineyard in the municipalities of Illingen, Mühlacker, Mühlhausen, Roßwag and Vaihingen (Württembergisch Unterland area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. The vineyards, which face west to southeast and are partly terraced, with slopes ranging from 10 to 70%, cover more than 90 hectares of vineyards. Due to its size, it is a very inhomogeneous site with varying conditions. The best parts are located in the steep terraces of the communities of Mühlhausen and Roßwag. The soils consist largely of shell limestone and Letten. The Steinbachhof vineyard, for example, has a share in the site.

There are other single vineyards called Halde in the municipalities or growing areas of Bad Cannstadt (Württemberg), Hochburg (Baden), Weisenheim am Sand (Palatinate) and Zunsweier (Baden).
