The vineyard "W. Haidle" is located in the community of Kernen-Stetten (area Remstal-Stuttgart) in the German wine growing region of Württemberg. It was founded in 1953 with the main focus on grape grafting. With the takeover of the estate by the married couple Wolfgang and Susanne Haidle in 1994, the focus was shifted to viticulture. The vineyards comprise six hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard location of Pulvermächer. They are planted to 60% with the red wine varieties Trollinger, Lemberger, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Samtrot, Dornfelder, Merlot and Regent, and 40% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Silvaner and Gewürztraminer. The red wines are aged in barriques after maceration, the white wines in steel tanks. In years with suitable weather conditions, an ice wine is also pressed. A marc spirit is also produced.
