The "W. Haidle" winery is located in the municipality of Kernen-Stetten (Remstal-Stuttgart area) in the German wine-growing region of Württemberg. It was founded in 1953 with a focus on vine grafting. When the couple Wolfgang and Susanne Haidle took over the estate in 1994, they concentrated on viticulture. The vineyards cover six hectares of vineyards in the single vineyard Pulvermächer. They are 60% planted with the red wine varieties Trollinger, Lemberger, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, Samtrot, Dornfelder, Merlot and Regent, and 40% with the white wine varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Silvaner and Gewürztraminer. After fermentation on the skins, the red wines are matured in barriques, the white wines in steel tanks. In years with suitable weather conditions, an ice wine is also produced. A grape marc spirit is also produced.
