The red grape variety originates from Armenia. Synonyms are Adice, Adici, Adisi and Adissi. The parentage is unknown. The variety was a crossing partner in the new varieties Echmiadzini, Eraskh and Karmrahyut. The vine produces wines with exotic aromas. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
