Groszer Wein Gmbh" was founded in 2012 as the successor to the former producer association "Vinum Ferreum"(Deutsch-Schützen) in the Austrian DAC area of Eisenberg (South Burgenland). The winery is managed by Matthias Krön and Markus Bach, who is also responsible as cellar master. The winery is located in the municipality of Burg at the foot of the Eisenberg. The business objective was defined as "to care for the continuation of the best sites on the Eisenberg, to bring out the very special personality of the Eisenberg and to make it accessible to a discerning public all over the world". The vineyards cover 16 hectares of vineyards on the Eisenberg, where wine was grown by the Romans at least 2,000 years ago.
