The winery is located in the municipality of Spitz-Radlbach in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Wachau. The house with the vaulted cellar was already mentioned in documents in 1638. The winery is run in the second family generation by Rupert and Roman Gritsch, the attached guest room and the wine tavern by Erika Gritsch. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards on partly terraced steep slopes in the Gasselreith, Setzberg and Tausendeimerberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling,Pinot Blanc, Muskateller and Neuburger, as well as the red wine variety Zweigelt. The vineyards are cultivated in a near-natural way, for example with green manure. Only physically ripe and healthy grapes are processed through selective manual harvesting. The wines are matured in stainless steel tanks in a way that is typical of the region and aromatic. The premium wines include various Grüner Veltliners and Rieslings in accordance with the Vinea Wachau Nobilis Districtus guidelines. A Frizzante is also produced.
