Gris piquepoul

The white grape variety comes from France. Synonyms are Avillo, Languedocien, Picapulla, Picpoul, Pikepul Seryi, Piquepoule Gris, Piquepoul Rosé and Szürke Piquepoul. It is a colour mutation of the red variety Piquepoul Noir (see also under Piquepoul). She was a crossbreeding partner in the new breeding Piquepoul Bouschet. In 2016, two hectares of vineyards were designated in the departments of Gard and Hérault in Languedoc (Kym Anderson).
