The "Weingut Grillmaier Bioweingärtnerei" is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The family has been involved in viticulture for over 100 years, and today it is run by Josef Grillmaier. A wine tavern is attached. "With respect and responsibility. In constant balance between tradition and innovation for our environment as well as future generations." The vineyards cover 25 hectares in the Käferberg, Spiegel, Steinhaus, Steinmassl and Wechselberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as with the red wine varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture; certified and controlled by Austria Bio Garantie. All wines are fermented spontaneously. Wine treatment agents are only used to a minimal extent. Premium wines include Grüner Veltliner "le Meilleur" (only in vintages with particularly high ripeness and quality) and a red wine cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. A speciality is "Grüsecco", a sparkling wine from Grüner Veltliner.
