Producer description of "Weingut Grillmaier Bioweingärtnerei"

The Grillmaier organic winery is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine-growing region of Kamptal. The family has been growing wine for over 100 years and today it is run by Josef Grillmaier. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vines in the Käferberg, Spiegel, Steinhaus, Steinmassl and Wechselberg vineyards.

They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of organic viticulture; certified and controlled by Austria Bio Garantie.
