The "Weingut Grillmaier Bioweingärtnerei" is located in the municipality of Langenlois in the Lower Austrian wine growing region Kamptal. The family has been growing wine for over 100 years, today it is managed by Josef Grillmaier. A wine tavern is attached. "With respect and responsibility. In a constant balance between tradition and innovation for our environment as well as for future generations". The vineyards comprise 25 hectares of vines in the Käferberg, Spiegel, Steinhaus, Steinmassl and Wechselberg vineyards. They are planted with the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Rheinriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as the red wine varieties Blauer Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The cultivation is carried out according to the rules of organic viticulture; certified and controlled by Austria Bio Garantie. All wines are fermented spontaneously. Wine treatment agents are only used to a minimal extent. Premium wines include Grüner Veltliner "le Meilleur" (only in vintages with particularly high maturity and quality) and a red wine cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. A speciality is "Grüsecco", a sparkling wine from Grüner Veltliner.
