The winery is located in the municipality of Mörbisch in the Leithaberg DAC region of Burgenland. The name comes from the border to Hungary, which is only 500 metres away. It is run by Bernhard Fiedler, who graduated from the HBLA Klosterneuburg and, as a wine academic, is also a lecturer at the Austrian Wine Academy. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vineyards, widely scattered in about 30 parcels of the Mörbischer Rieden Altenberg, Goldberg, Hader, Haderwald, Satz, Seeäcker and Wieser. They are planted with 50% each of the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon, and the white wine varieties Grüner Veltliner, Muskat Ottonel, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Traminer. The vineyards are cultivated according to the guidelines of natural viticulture.

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
