The winery is located in the municipality of Schliengen-Obereggenen (Markgräflerland area) in the German wine-growing region of Baden. It was founded in 2017 by Maximilian Greiner. After training as a wine cooper and then studying viticulture and oenology in Geisenheim, the family's former fruit-growing business was restructured into a direct-marketing winery. Small parts of the land of his father's fruit farm are still cultivated and the fruit is used, among other things, in the in-house distillery for the distillation of fine spirits (Williams pears, plums, mirabelles, yeast, marc).
Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
