Graben (single location Germany)

Single location in the municipality of Bernkastel-Kues (Bernkastel area) in the German Moselle growing region. The south- to south-west-facing vineyards at an altitude of 125 to 225 metres above sea level with a 60% gradient comprise 12 hectares of vineyards. On the stony, medium-deep Devonian slate weathered soils with partially loamy soil, the Riesling is mostly cultivated in unmodified form in a single-pile system. The best plots are comparable with the famous neighbouring Doctor site. The Dr. Pauly-Bergweiler, Privy Councillor J. Wegeler Erben, Molitor, S. A. Prüm, Studert-Prüm and Wwe. Dr. H. Thanisch Erben Müller-Burggraef, for example, have shares.
