Gourmet

French term (gourmet) for a connoisseur in terms of food and drink (wine); a sommelier acts as a consultant in this regard in more sophisticated restaurants. A gourmand is someone who eats or drinks in excess (but does not necessarily have the same expertise as the gourmet).
