Golden Queen

The white grape variety is a new variety between Black Alicante x Ferdinand de Lesseps. Synonyms are Formosa, Huang Jin Hou and Pearson Golden Queen. The cross was made in 1876 in England by J. Pearson. The variety is used as a winepress and table grape. It was a crossing partner for the new varieties Aurora (2) and Black Queen. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
