Gold capsule

Commonly used by a number of wineries in the German growing regions of Rheingau, Mosel and Palatinate for noble sweet wines such as Beerenauslese or Trockenbeerenauslese. These are mostly small quantities of special quality, which are not officially marketed via the price list, but are only offered at auctions. They can be recognised by a gold-coloured capsule above the cork.
