The winery is located in the municipality of Roncà (province of Verona) in the Italian region of Veneto. It was founded in the early 1980s by Gianni Tessari. The vineyards cover 55 hectares of vineyards in three DOC zones: Colli Berici, Lessini Durello and Soave. They are planted with the red wine varieties Tai Rosso (Garnacha Tinta), Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir), Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Carmenère, as well as the white wine varieties Durella, Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave (Verdicchio Bianco), Pinot Grigio (Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Solaris. The product range includes around 15 wines with the DOC wines Colli Berici, Lessini Durello, Soave and Soave Classico, as well as IGT wines Veneto. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for up to 24 months, depending on the type of wine. Stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels (4,000 l) and barrique barrels are used for this. Sparkling wines are also produced according to the Méthode charmat or Metodo martinotti (tank fermentation) and Méthode classique (bottle fermentation). Around 350,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.

The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
