Gellertberg

single vineyard, which extends over the two municipalities of Oberau (1.5 ha) and Weinböhla (52 ha) in the German wine-growing region of Saxony. The south to southwest facing vineyards with slopes ranging from 5 to 20% cover 53.5 hectares of vineyards on sandy soil with high water permeability. The varieties cultivated here include Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Traminer, Kerner, Goldriesling and Pinot Noir. The Loose Steffen and Richter Vincenz wineries, for example, have shares in the site.
