The winery is located in the municipality of Grünstadt-Asselheim (Mittelhaardt/Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of Pfalz. It was founded in 1949 by Käthe and Georg Gaul and then taken over by daughter Inge and Bernd Triebel. After training as a winemaker, the business has been run by Michael Triebel, the third generation of the family, since 2014, with the support of his family. According to the winemaker's credo, the deep connection with nature, his roots and tradition are just as important to him as breaking new, creative ground in the cultivation and development of the wines. The winery's new logo combines a vine leaf with a modern version of one and is meant to symbolise tradition, progress and creativity.
There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
