The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Bouvier x Freiminer. Synonyms or breeding numbers are FR 300-76, Freiburg 300-76 and Kalina. The hybrid was crossed in 1976 by the agronomist Norbert Becker (1937-2012) at the wine-growing institute in Freiburg (Baden-Württemberg). The very early ripening vine is resistant to frost and fungal diseases. The rosé-coloured berries have a muscat hue. It is mainly used as table grape. However, no stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
