The winery is located in the community of Lösnich (Bernkastel area) in the German Mosel wine region. The family has been growing wine for several generations. Today it is owned by Hannelore and Herbert Kiebel. Son Christian is responsible for the cellar. A guest house is attached. The vineyards comprise 2.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Treppchen (Erden), Försterlay (Lösnich), as well as Hubertuslay (Kienheim). They are planted with the varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau and Pinot Noir. Wine-growing is practised consistently close to nature and environmentally friendly. Great importance is attached to fully ripe grapes, low yields and selective manual harvesting. In years with suitable weather conditions, Beerenauslese and Eiswein are also pressed. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced.
