Single location in the municipality of Bodenheim (Nierstein area) in the German Rheinhessen
growing region. The vineyards, which are oriented east to south and have a slope gradient of 5 to 35%, comprise 49 hectares of vineyard area. The soils consist mainly of loess with a small proportion of loam and partly green lichen. Amongst others, the Riesling and Pinot Noir varieties are cultivated here. The Gauer Jacob, Martinushof and Oberstleutnant Liebrecht wineries, for example, have a share of the site.
