Froehn

One of the Alsace (Haut-Rhin) sites classified as Grand Cru within the Alsace Grand Cru appellation. The vineyards cover 15 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 270 to 300 metres above sea level on calcareous sandstone in the commune of Zellenberg, 12 kilometres north-west of Colmar. They are planted with the Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Muscat Blanc varieties. Well-known producers are Jean Becker and Edmond Rentz.
