The winery is located in the municipality of Escherndorf (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. The family business is run by Michael Fröhlich. The vineyards cover ten hectares of vines in the Escherndorf single vineyard sites of Fürstenberg and Lump. They are planted with the white wine varieties Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Riesling, Scheurebe, Bacchus, Kerner and Rieslaner, as well as with the red wine varieties Spätburgunder, Portugieser and Domina. The wines are marketed according to the VDP classification model in the lines Gutsweine, Lagenweine and Grosse Gewächse. The winery is a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) and the Franconian winegrowers' association Frank & Frei.
