The International Wine Fair was first held in 1985 and has been held annually in Munich in November ever since. The target groups are private customers and trade visitors. The product groups wines, sparkling wines, spirits, regional specialities, delicacies, accessories, cellar technology, as well as literature and online services are presented. The exhibitors are producers and specialist retailers from the wine, sparkling wine, spirits, beverages, delicatessen, chocolate and accessories sectors, publishers, as well as specialist suppliers from the catering, travel and online sectors. In addition to tastings and direct sales, an extensive supporting programme is offered. See also under Awards and Wine Events.
