Folle Noire

A synonym often used in France for several grape varieties, which literally means "crazy blacks". It is used for Canari Noir (Folle Noir de la Vienne), Fuella Nera (also Folle Noire de Nice), Jurançon Noir (also Folle Rouge), Négret Castrais, Négrette and Valdiguié; see there.
