The white grape variety is a complex interspecific new variety between Severny(Seyanets Malengra x Amurensis) x (Muscat Lunel = Yellow Muscat x Muscat d'Alexandrie) Genes of Vitis amurensis and Vitis vinifera are included. The hybrid was crossed in 1947 in Rostov-Russia (then USSR). The Russian name is Cvetocny or Cvetotschny. In Austria it was tested from 1998 on at the experimental farm Götzhof of the Klosterneuburger Weinbauinstitut and was released as a quality wine grape variety in Austria in 2018. The medium to late-maturing vine is resistant to frost and both types of mildew and is considered a PIWI variety. It produces a muscatel-like white wine with muscatel.
