The white grape variety is an interspecific new variety between Couderc 28-112 (Bayard) x Dattier de Beyrouth (Afus Ali). Synonyms are Chasselas Flot d'Or and Seibel 2653, which contain genes from Vitis labrusca, Vitis rupestris and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed by the French breeder Albert Seibel (1844-1936). It is also used as table grape. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
