There are three grape varieties (new breeds) with this name:
Ukraine - Hybrid Genotype x Koroleva Tairovskala
The white grape variety is an interspecific new breed between Hybrid Genotype x Koroleva Tairovskala. The crossing of the hybrid took place in 1983 in Ukraine by the breeder L. F. Meleshko. It is mainly used as table grapes. In 2016, no stocks were reported (Statistics Kym Anderson).
USA - Vitis vinifera x Vitis labrusca
The white grape variety is an interspecific new breed between unknown varieties of the species Vitis vinifera x Vitis labrusca. The crossing of the hybrid took place in 1850 in the USA by the breeder A. M. Spangler. The vine is used as juice and table grapes. In 2016, no stocks were reported (Statistics Kym Anderson).
USA - Sémillon x Roter Traminer
The white grape variety is a new breed between Sémillon x Roter Traminer (Gewürztraminer). Synonyms are California H 59-90 and Flora Rose. The crossing took place in 1938 by the botanist Dr. Harold P. Olmo (1909-2006) at the University of California in Davis. The variety protection was granted in 1958. The early ripening vine was specifically bred for the hot climatic conditions of California. It produces aromatic, full-bodied but somewhat low-acid white wines. The variety is grown in Australia (1 ha), Brazil (0.1 ha), California in Napa Valley, New Zealand (3 ha), and South Africa (8 ha). In 2016, 12 hectares of vineyard area were reported (Kym Anderson).
