Term (also bonitisation) for the quality classification (creditworthiness) of agricultural objects of observation. In agriculture, this includes all observations of the phenotype of a plant. This can relate to plant characteristics, fruit condition or soil quality. In the latter case, soil composition and ageing phenomena are classified, taking into account the influencing groundwater and climatic conditions.
