The "Weingut & Gästehaus Felshof Familie Wenninger" is located in the municipality of Sommerhausen (Maindreieck area) in the German wine-growing region of Franconia. A guesthouse is attached. Apples and pears are cultivated on five hectares. The farm is run by Karl Wenninger. The vineyards cover 11 hectares of vines in the Reifenstein and Steinbach (Sommerhausen) single vineyard sites. They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Scheurebe, Kerner, Bacchus and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Domina, Regent, Schwarzriesling and Dornfelder. In years with suitable weather conditions, sweet wines such as Trockenbeerenauslesen and Eisweine are also pressed. Furthermore, bottle-fermented sparkling wines, noble brandies (fruit) grape juice and wine jelly are also produced.
